A Sizzle from the 2015 Film Festival
The Pulse gives you an all access behind the scenes look at the 2015 La Costa Film Festival which took place September 10-13 at the beautiful Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad. We sit down for exclusive interviews with film makers and sponsors in attendance, take you on to all the Red carpets with us and into all the fabulous VIP parties and festivities.
We had such a great time being a sponsor and covering the La Costa Film Festival this year! We had our own Media Lounge where we conducted exclusive interviews with actors and film makers at the festival to get the story & inspiration behind their films. Our Decor was provided by Lauren Sharon Vintage Rentals!
Opening night was a huge success with the Sip & Savor event featuring 28 of the best restaurants and vendors in San Diego. Some of these amazing restaurants and partners were:
Bistro 65, Blue Fire Bar and Grill, Cinépolis, Ironfist Brewry, Latitude 33 Brewing Company, Chandler’s Carlsbad, Agave del Mar, Chuao Chocolatier, Hatfield Creek Vineyards & Winery, Blue Ribbon Artisan Pizzeria, Old Harbor Distilling, Blue Ocean Robata & Sushi Bar, Vigulucci’s Carlsbad, Green Dragon Tavern & Museum, The Craftsman New American Tavern, Gaia Gelato, Legacy Brewing Company, Twenty 20, Carruth Cellars, Baker & Olive, Cafe Secret, SusieCakes Bakery, Urban Plates, Powell Mountain Cellars, Gregorios, Sabor de Vida, and RVVA.
The red carpet was fabulous with the stars from the opening night movie All in Time directed by Marina Donahue and Chris Fetchko Management. We had the chance to speak to Marina, Lynn Cohen, Sean Modica, Laura Shay, and Vanessa Ray.
This movie is based on a true story and is a dramatic comedy about life, love, and passion. It tells the story of Charlie, played by Sean Modica, who quits his job to manage his favorite hometown rock band. It is one movie you will want to see!
Associate producer Arturo Iglesias talks to us about his short movie premiering at La Costa Film Festival which is an animation by Director Alfonso de la Cruz. It is called 9:30 AM. A child shows us how moments of daily life are full of complex emotions with simple meanings.
Cindy from the Pulse sits down with director/producer Jonathan JJ James and Editor Ed Borneman to discuss their new movie Life In a Walk making it’s premiere at the 3rd annual La Costa Film Festival.
Life in A Walk begins as a journey to connect the family and ends as an inspiration to cherish relationships. Never wanting to say “I wish I’d Spent more time with my Dad,” Director Yogi Roth invites his father on a walk along the Camino De Santiago that would change their lives forever.
