The Lot La Jolla:
7611 Fay Avenue
La Jolla, CA 92037
The Pulse was on the scene to cover the 2016 Oscars Party at The Lot in La Jolla. If you have not been here yet, you are missing out. The ambiance is amazing and the experience is something, well, you need to experience yourself. The Lot is a stylish & sophisticated community hub for dining, socializing, entertainment, and fun!
They have everything from a coffee bar area with yummy pastries open all day and a beautiful patio area to sit, connect with friends, or work. They have a gorgeous bar and dining area for nightlife and meals. Have we mentioned the 7 Luxury Cinemas where they play big block buster films? You can order drinks and food in here and lean back in the reclining chairs. I mean where do I sign up?
The Lot through out the Red Carpet for their 200 plus guests that had reserved tables and even movie theatre auditoriums to watch the Oscars on the Big Screens with their friends.
People came out dressed in their Oscar best to celebrate and watch the show on the large screen TV in the bar and the other TV’s set up on the Patio.
They had a huge gold Oscar on display for people to take their photos with, an instagram booth, projected white star lights on the floor and ceilings, and a fabulous menu developed by Chef Matt Sramek, for the guests to sample the amazing local produce, meats, and seafood. (I even lucked out tasting the Egg free, dairy free, Gluten Free, Kale and Quinoa salad which is scrumptious!)
Overall the night was a blast and I can’t think of a better place to hold your next birthday, party, or special event. You will surely see me at the bar drinking some of the phenomenal wines & champagnes they have on the menu.
Watch the video so you can see for yourself! We talk to Architect Carlos Wellman about the design and several guests in attendance.
