Wine Wednesdays

09 Aug 2018

written by Cindy Matalucci

I am so excited to launch my newest show, Wine Wednesday’s with the Pulse.

No holds barred
Nothings off limits
Entrepreneur confessions
Real conversation
Lots of win

Why this show?

I wanted a platform like I did with Entrepreneur confessions, where we could be real & candid about our lives and show people that we all struggle, and what we do to cope.

How we all have had epic fails, but how do we not let it define us? How to we continue to have the drive and the power to put one foot in front of the other every day.

We were sick of the social media front where everyone is posting filtered BEST ever moments, and none of the real stuff! We wanted to dive into the real struggles people are having!

Big thank you to our sponsor Koi Zen Cellars for hosting us! We will be showcasing a new aspect of this winery each time we film on location!

Our first guest is Windus Fernandez Brinkkord From Trilogy Financial.

We talk:
The financial world
the me too movement
working in a male dominated industry
overcoming cancer and many family struggles.

Tune in every Wednesday to see us on location at Koi Zen Cellars, our sponsor and host of the show!

What can you expect?

Always be a different guest, the conversation will be very real and unfiltered and hopefully you will feel inspired after this show as that is what I hope you will take away from this. Oh and some pretty entertaining stuff to and LOTS OF WINE!

About Windus:

BIO: Windus Fernandez Brinkkord is passionate about helping people attain the wealth they need to achieve financial freedom and security. She started her career in the financial services industry with Trilogy Financial Services (Trilogy) in March of 2003. As a Senior Vice President of Investments, she offers a thoughtful and patient approach to wealth planning by walking her clients through a range of financial services to help them make educated decisions about their own financial future. She actively manages money and provides comprehensive planning for her clients.

Windus’ dedication to her clients has resulted in her being included in the “Baker’s Dozen” in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, & 2016. Baker’s Dozen is Trilogy’s most elite group of top advisors. In 2015 she was also awarded the “40 Under 40 Award” by SDMetro.

While her career with Trilogy keeps her busy, Windus dedicates considerable time to several community organizations. She also leads a very fulfilling personal life with her family, which includes her husband, Kurt, two children, Bradley and Eloise, and two dogs, Akio and Koji. She and Kurt are avid surfers, travelers, and hikers. Together, they have tackled adventures from hiking Macchu Picchu to road trips through Belize.

About Koi Zen:

We love the feel of this neighborhood winery and the story behind it. Lisa was a photographer and her husband Darius, a computer scientist working in the corporate world. When the market took a tank in 2012 and with a health scare, Lisa & Darius decided that life was too short to live for a paycheck and decided to do something they were really passionate about, making wine!

They opened Koi Zen Cellars where they crush, ferment, age, blend & bottle the grapes/wine all on site. They source the grapes from world class vineyards like Napa and Lodi. They carry Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Malbec, Merlot, Petite Sirah, & Mourvedre.

We especially enjoy their Chardonnay which is crisp and has the flavors of nectarines, peaches, and pears.
