What is the Pulse?
The Pulse does event coverage and video marketing with an interview style! We are the E-news of San Diego but instead of focusing on celebrity gossip, we celebrate and focus on the amazing businesses in San Diego! We spotlight local business owners and learn about their personal story. Cindy, the host of the show, will come to your event or business, try your products and services on camera, talk to some of your best clients, and give your potential customers an inside view of your company. We are all about fun, and we make this an interactive, natural experience. Instead of talking to a camera, you are having a real conversation with Cindy, in a relaxed setting, with a tailored set of questions to target potential clients. Cindy’s Bio:
Cindy Matalucci Executive Producer, Host & Founder of The Pulse
She achieved a BA in English and a minor in Business at Washington College in Maryland. A beach girl at heart she gravitated toward southern california and relocated to San Diego!
Cindy spent the next 17 years building a phenomenal career in sales and marketing working for fortune 500 companies. As a business consultant for Paychex Inc for over 13 years , she was a top 50 rep 12 years in a row, the last 2 years top 10 in the country out of over 2500 sales professionals.
Cindy’s strongest asset is her networking capability and her motivation to succeed.
In March of 2011, Cindy decided to become an entrepreneur and founded her company The Pulse. “One common thread I saw with all of my clients in the corporate world was that they were so successful in their industry, but when it came to marketing, they didn’t know how to successfully market their business. I had been putting on large events for a women’s group I founded, Elite Networking, and came up with the idea to film and photograph these events for clients to use on their website for promotion.
My true passion was journalism, and people’s stories! I loved all the entertainment shows like E news that go inside a celebrity’s world and show you what products they use or what workouts they are doing. I thought, why can’t we do something like that but be business focused on all the great local businesses we have in San Diego.
I used a few of my clients as a guinea pig and we took you inside their world and tried their products and services on camera.
We produced a fun hip marketing video for the client to use but with an interview style! We also started attending events and providing that much needed media buzz by interviewing the hosts and attendees of the events.”
In finding a niche market that no one was tapping into in San Diego, The Pulse took off and have since done over 700 videos.
The Pulse has become an authority in San Diego, and is now providing a full service multimedia platform for clients to share their story through video.
They cover red carpet events, launch parties, grand openings, and provide interview style videos as well as video content for their clients to use on all social media outlets as well as their website. They even have Live Stream capability to stream an event live on face book or a clients website.
When the Pulse shows up at your event, they create a much needed buzz that used to be soley provided by PR Firms.
Cindy also is the executive producer and host of her web show called The Pulse Live With Cindy which airs live every Friday at 11am on Facebook, you tube and her site!
Cindy is the executive producer, creator, and host for the TV show on Channel 4, called “The Pulse” Airing every Thursday at 4 PM! They tap into 1.2 million viewers and several markets outside of San Diego!
Cindy has been nominated for several awards, The Connected Women of Influence Women Making History Awards for The Anita Roddick Entrepreneur Award and the 2013 National Association of Women Business Owners Trailblazer Award.
