SDMom’sNightOut Heart Yourself Event

The Pulse covers the SD Mom’s Night Out Heart Yourself Event at the Palomar Hotel in downtown San Diego. The co-founders of SD Mom’s Night Out, Samantha Migdal from DateNight411 and Angela Quisumbing from Mira Mesa Mom, wanted to support Heart Health Month in February so they decided to throw the event in honor of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Campaign. They brought in the amazing Holly Green heart attack survivor and Author of the best selling book More Than A Minute: How to be an effective Leader & Manager in Today’s Changing World to speak to the women about how important heart health is. She shared her amazing story and spoke about the warning signs for a heart attack which differ greatly for women than they do for men.

The Palomar Hotel’s fabulous Spa The Se’ Spa, opened it’s doors for the women and offered hand massages, chair massages, and facials to the Mom’s. Food was provided by Saltbox Dining & Drinking, and music was performed live by Trent Hancock.
