20 Jun 2013

written by Cindy Matalucci

Cindy from the Pulse takes you inside a day of fitness for a good cause at Armone’s Core connection in La Jolla. Hosted by owner Armone Sullivan, the morning consisted of four 15 minute workouts with different trainers from her gym. They had circuit training, running drills, weight lifting, and spinning taught by local celebrity instructor Giuseppe Ciuffa owner of Giuseppe Restaurants & Fine catering. He is also a professional cyclist which really pumped up the crowd. The proceeds of this event all went to Challenged Athletes Foundation. Vikki Indermuehle from the foundation was on hand to educate the participants on what this foundation does for athletes. Danielle McLaughlin a local girl that actually was granted a prosthetic leg was there to speak about her experience with the organization and how it changed her life. You have to check out this awesome event!

Modeled after classic pilot styles, they're handmade from acetate and have oversized D-frames fitted with green lenses.
