The Pulse takes you inside the Grand Opening VIP Party for Tommy Hilfiger San Diego who opened a flagship store in Fashion Valley Mall. From the moment you walk into this amazing store, you can pick up the beach vibe, from the warm colors to the palm trees inside, the decor is fantastic. The Style is out of this world! The event hosted by Tommy Hilfiger and InStyle Magazine was a huge success. Cindy Weber-Cleary fashion director for InStyle was on hand to talk about the new surf shack collection and how fabulous the line is. Professional surfer Kalani Robb was also in attendance as a brand ambassador for the line. Gary Sheinbaum, ceo of Tommy Hilfiger North America talks to us about the inspiration for the line and how it is East Coast preppy meets West Coast surfer chic. Artist Richard Phillips talks to us about his amazing art on the custom surfboards hanging on the walls at the store. The surf shack collection is inspired by the surf communities like Biarritz and Malibu. The line includes pieces you can wear to the beach by day, and dress up for a night on the town. I was lucky to be dressed by Tommy in an amazing yellow statement piece from their new collection.

Guests were treated to champagne and appetizers and enjoyed music by a local DJ. This event benefitted the Autism Society of San Diego. If you haven’t checked out this local store you are missing out. Watch as we go inside!
