Cindy from the Pulse sits down with Allison Andrews director and founder of Fashion Week San Diego, to talk about the platform FWSD is for emerging designers and what type of impact it has on their business.
We also sit down with three of the designers who showcased/debuted last year at Fashion Week and are back again this year. We find out what they love about being a part of Fashion Week and how it has changed their business. We also get a sneak peek of 1 look from each designer!
We meet Sharlene Estrella Borrmeo from A’ doreus designs who is the only plus size line at Fashion Week San Diego. We learn her amazing story and what inspires her designs.
Next we talk with the lovely ladies of Dos Caras Swimwear, Aida Soria & Syncletica Maestas. They tell us their story of how they met and what inspires their amazing swimsuit line.
Finally, we sit down with the darling Evelyne Aguilar from NoIa by Evelyn. We learn about her fun trendy hip designs and what inspired her for her new 2013 line.
Come out and support these amazing designers and Fashion Week in our amazing city, San Diego. The dates are September 30th-October 6th. Wednesday October 2nd is the first event open to the Public with the Art & Beauty Behind Fashion Event. Thursday-Saturday night are the runway shows, and Sunday is the trunk show where you get to see the designs up close and buy them! We look forward to seeing you there!
