Lions Tigers & Bears

Lions Tigers and Bears is an exotic animal rescue sanctuary. They are committed to providing a safe haven to abused and abandoned animals while inspiring an educational forum for the public to learn about the plight of the exotic animal trade and what they can do to make a difference.

They are state and federally licensed and a non profit organization which is home to 19 species of animals. They have the highest accreditation which is by the American Sanctuary Association and the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries.

Owner Bobbi Brink is on the road 100 days a year coordinating and rescuing animals all over the country and is so passionate about what she does. We were very inspired when we learned her story and how she sold her restaurant business and started this sanctuary with her own money! She is making a difference everyday in the lives of these animals.

We were invited to film and take part in the “Behind the Scenes Feeding experience,” where you get to learn about the animals with a tour guide as well as feed them! It was a once in a lifetime experience for us and something everyone needs to do!

Guess what? You can even stay overnight on the property at the gorgeous White Oak Retreat house overlooking all the animals in their habitats! We also stayed overnight and were delighted by the ambiance and the sounds of the animals at night! They were roaring and calling to each other!
