The Pulse was on the scene at The Art of Skin MD in Solana Beach, with our favorite board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatologic cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Melanie Palm for her annual Summer Skin Rescue Event.
This is one of our favorite events to cover each year.
We are so passionate about skincare and looking our best and Dr. Palm is phenomenal when it comes to the latest procedures available in her field.
She is ahead of the curve at her state of the art practice located in the Beach Walk Shopping Center.
This event is a celebration of her clients!
She brings in the best vendors, music, and yummy food, and offers amazing promotions on the services that she offers.
She also talks to attendees about the latest news and trends in skincare. This year she was excited to talk about the expansion of her practice! She will have a whole new wing dedicated to lasers and skin tightening procedures for her clients.
Every year Leslie from FoodSense, Now caters the event and everyone loves the food she prepares! She really outdid herself on the presentation of the food this year!
Food sense Now is a Solana Beach-based company here in So Cal focused on whole-food, plant-forward, and gluten-free nutrition for athletically minded people.
Melissa Southerland, owner of Solana Beach Coffee Company was also involved providing a caffeine fix to the guests.
This was her first time being involved in the event, and we had the opportunity to talk with her about why she got involved.

We also spoke to the ladies who work for Merz Aesthetics, who represent some of the products used by Dr. Palm at her practice including, Radiesse, Belotero, and Neocutis, which is one of Cindy’s favorite lines to use! She is obsessed with the eye cream.
