About Nancy:

Since 2009, Nancy Flint, has been gifting family and friends with her signature Sea Salt Caramels every Christmas.

Encouraged by their “oohing and ahhing” every year, Nancy entered a local candy making contest and won!  The award led to a local TV spot and a small CFO (Cottage Food Operation) was born!

Since then, Sugar Mamma Caramels have won multiple awards and is sold both online and in several locations throughout San Diego. We got the scoop on a new collaboration between Nancy & An’s Dry Cleaning, where they have a signature Velour Sea Salt Caramel Gelato made with her caramel sauce!

An’s Dry cleaning is located at 3017 Adams Avenue but you can also find Nancy’s treats in 17 different locations throughout San Diego by going to her site.

You may also order her treats directly on the website!

Sugar Mamma Caramels are made to order using only the highest quality ingredients with no additives or preservatives. All of her caramels are made in small batches, entirely hand-crafted in her kitchen in San Diego, California.

Buttery, creamy, soft, and luscious…each bite of Sugar Mamma Caramel is a gift made with love. We love the champagne flavored ones!

Oh and The Beer & Pretzel ones are a no brainer for the man in your life!

Founder, Nancy Flint (known as “Mamma Flint” to her local fans) lives in San Diego with her husband Michael and their 2 precious daughters.

The Country Friends!

The Pulse welcomed The Country Friends Organization and show you how to get tickets to their Havana Night Gala event!

We loved having Lauren Reynolds and Luis R Carranza on the Live show to talk about the local non profit The Country Friends.

The Country Friends presents “Havana Night,” the 2nd Annual “Giving Hearts” Dinner & Dance on February 16, from 6-10pm, at the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club.

This year’s festivities feature Cuban-themed entertainment, a Latin-inspired menu, and salsa dancing.

About Country Friends:
501(c)3 nonprofit organization, formed 65 years ago to provide needed funding for San Diego County-based charities. It’s legacy is “Helping San Diegans since 1954 :: One Hand at a Time.”

The organization raises funds primarily through its signature event, the Art of Fashion, held each September at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, and proceeds from its Rancho Santa Fe Consignment Shop, at 6030 El Tordo, specializing in exquisite furniture, antiques, rugs, silver, china and objects d’art. Since its founding, The Country Friends has awarded more than $13 million to support human care agencies, with special emphasis on services to women, children, the elderly, the military, and those with disabilities.

They have raised over 13 million for their causes! BRAVO!!
