I absolutely loved going to San Diego Zoo Safari on Friday now that it reopened with new safety guidelines and protocols.
It used to be called Wild Animal Park and it’s been a few years since I’ve been. The day pass is $60.00 and includes a full day at the park!
My tip for you:
You can check the wait time on line and buy tickets ahead of time on the website!
Weekends are much more crowded FYI!
The Tram is not working now so wear running shoes or comfy shoes!

We loved walking in the park in nature and seeing all the amazing animals. We loved the kangaroos in the Australia Walkabout area! This was such a fun area and the views are epic!
The tiger trail is super cool and you get to see the tigers up close! We saw one sleeping and pressed right up against the glass!

They have great options for food and drinks too. Many of the places have gluten free options and wine and beer which you can take around the park with you while you walk!
It is an awesome family outing or a perfect date spot! The month of October kids can go free!
I can’t wait for the Hot air balloon ride to open again! That is on the to do list!
