Dead Dolly Lane
Alpine CA
Japatul Road
Oh super creepy!
Happy Halloween peeps! We stopped to check out #deaddollylane in Alpine!
We love Halloween and creepy spots to explore every year. My friend Misty @hello.champagne (on instagram) told me about this spot and we added it to our stops on Halloween Day!
It is a Doll Graveyard basically with all types of dolls.
Alpine’s Dead Dolly Lane, a private driveway off of Japatul Road, is a popular place for people who want to take selfies, self portraits of people using their cell phone camera.
According to the Alpine Sun The selfie spot is partly the creation of artist Toni Fusco, 58, owner of the art and the land, that has doll contributions from strangers and her own collection of dolls added to it.
It was taken down but rebuilt by Fusco and pals like Lisa McDade a few years back.
Dead Dolly Lane is just one part of her artistic expression that is more known on the internet, than by many in the county of San Diego.
Wow is it a Fun place to explore but I have to admit a bit creepy!
“People drop off boxes of dolls and they contribute their own dolls,” said Fusco. “They really have a lot of fun.”
We forgot to open the mailbox, and I am too scared to see what is inside.
If you open it, let us know what you find!
