We love horses and Temecula wine country so we embark on some adventure at Wine Country Trails!
Wine Country Trails By Horseback offers a one of kind horseback riding experience through the beautiful vineyards of the Temecula Wine Country.
It includes a scenic 90 minute guided tour on gentle horses led by their seasoned tour guides. We had Haley who was awesome and we rode Patch and Decka!
Israel was on the queen bee Decka who had to lead everyone or she got grumpy!
The breathtaking views of the Maurice Car’rie Winery vineyards and the romance of wine country is amazing. Come explore the back roads of the Temecula Wine Country like you have never seen before. You can do private sessions here as well as other types of romantic packages.
Owner and operator Diana Lefort set out to establish a unique way for everyone to experience the beauty of Temecula Valley’s Wine Country. The result was Wine Country Trails by Horseback.
Diana is a local resident whose passion and more than 3 decades of experience with horses provides a safe, relaxing and memorable experience to all riders. The rides are conducted with the highest level of professionalism and service with experienced and knowledgeable guides that work hard to exceed your expectations.
Diana also has rehabilitated more than 50 horses. Living comfortably on a 20 acre ranch in Temecula Valley, these lovely horses get the treatment and care that they deserve while happily fulfilling a purpose once again.
After the ride you can wine taste at the winery and we loved the selection of whites! It is a gorgeous family run winery that has been around since 1986.
About the winery:
A large Victorian-Style Farmhouse, the Ultimate Vineyards is nestled amidst the rolling hills of the beautiful Temecula Valley. Established among the first vineyards planted in the region in 1968, Ultimate Vineyards is known in the Temecula Valley as one of the most inviting and warm Wine Country atmospheres.
Guests are invited to taste our award-winning fine wines while shopping for fabulous gift merchandise. Friends and family can also enjoy snacking on our Famous Baked Brie in Sourdough Bread with a bottle of wine on our lovely picnic grounds. Ultimate Vineyards is truly the atmosphere for a pleasurable wine experience.
The winery was originally founded by Budd and Maurice Van Roekel in 1986 and is among the first dozen wineries established in Temecula. We currently have over 70 acres of vines planted on this beautiful property located in the heart of Temecula Valley wine country. The Vineyard contains some of the valleys oldest vines originally planted in 1968.
They are best known for their outstanding white wines ranging from a dry Sauvignon Blanc that has won numerous awards to their current Platinum award winning Gewurztraminer among many others.
They carry two different labels that serve to distinguish the styles of wine that they carry. The Ultimate Vineyards label is associated with the sweeter white, blush, and red wines. The Van Roekel Estate label is geared towards the dry whites and bold reds.
I had the white flight for $20.00 and Israel had the Full Spectrum for $22.50.
