We sit down with Miguel A. de Jesús the Director of Business Development at the College and Roger Herzler Director of Business Community Projects to discuss some of the unique programs they are offering in this Department.
Cal State College of Business Administration offers leading bachelor’s and master’s programs, which are shaped by their world-class faculty and strengthened by a market driven curriculum.
They are dedicated to the success of their students with a focus on career development through their engaging Signature Programs.
Miguel and Roger talk about two of these signature programs they offer at the college, the Senior Experience Program and the Masters Program.
The Master’s Experience is a CSUSM signature program that connects business organizations with graduate students to perform consulting projects.
The Senior Experience program is required by students to graduate from the College of Business Administration. They work on 5-person teams on defined projects for sponsoring organizations.
The program has conducted projects for all manner of organization: 1-person startups to Fortune 100 companies; 40% of projects are for non-profits, including foundations, city, state, local governments, other universities….pretty much every kind of organization.
Guess what? it is a Flat fee of 1500.00 for the 750 hours of work they put in!
The Senior Experience Trade Show is happening on Dec. 15th so save the date!

This semi-annual trade show will showcase 30+ senior business student group projects! Attendees are invited to visit team booths to learn about students’ final research projects which provide solutions for sponsoring business organizations!
The business community is also invited to attend the CoBA Business Networking Reception prior to the Senior Experience Trade Show!
