Building on the legacy of the Newport Beach Film Festival, this four-day celebration showcased exceptional storytelling across networks and streaming platforms—from acclaimed series to emerging voices.
We were excited to attend this inaugural event!
Hosted at the historic Lido Theater, the festival brought together top industry professionals and the largest community of Guild and Television Academy voters outside of Los Angeles and New York.
The Festival was 4 days long held from June 5–8, 2025 and we were invited as VIP Guests!
The Festival kicked off with one of my favorite ladies, Kate Hudson and The Awards Chatter Live Podcast with Kate Hudson!
Guests got to experience a live recording of The Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast as Scott Feinberg sat down with Kate Hudson, recipient of the TV Performance of the Year Award (Actress) for her role in Netflix’s Running Point.
This in-person conversation explored Hudson’s wide-ranging career in film television music and entrepreneurship with her signature charm and insight.
Saturday night was a hit with The Awards Chatter Live Podcast with Adam Brody!
Guests were able to see a live taping of The Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast with Adam Brody, recipient of the TV Performance of the Year Award (Actor) for his role in Netflix’s Nobody Wants This.
Hosted by Scott Feinberg, this special conversation celebrated Brody’s career and latest work with warmth, humor, and heart.
Legendary OC director and producer McG presented the award.
Saturday was action packed starting with fun day celebrating Cobra Kai!
NBTVFest presented a cast and creator panel featuring Ralph Macchio, Yuji Okumoto and Mary Mouser, along with Cobra Kai Series creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg for a lively and insightful conversation.
I got to meet Ralph on the red carpet and he was amazing! He took the time to sign autographs for all his fans.
Next we were excited to congratulate Yellowjackets, this year’s recipient of the Newport Beach TV Fest Outstanding Drama Ensemble Award!
NBTV Fest was thrilled to welcome Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, and Samantha Hanratty for a fascinating conversation moderated by Debra Birnbaum.
The highlight of our day was the panel on Landman, a TV show we cannot get enough of!
We got to Congratulate the talented cast and crew for Outstanding Drama Series Award! Billy Bob Thornton, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter and Jacob Lofland took center stage at the Newport Beach TV Fest for a lively and entertaining conversation!
My favorite part was Billy Bob and Ali talking about their chemistry and relationship on screen!
The cast did red carpet interviews after the panel!
Saturday night ended with a BANG! Newport Beach TV Fest hosted the Breakout Performance Awards and Panel presented by Gold Derby!

Sunday highlights included a celebration for Jason Segel on the Variety Creative Impact in Television Award! His work as an actor, writer, and producer were highlighted!
The Fest also celebrated the hit show Abbott Elementary. NBTV Fest welcomed Emmy® Award winner Quinta Brunson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti and William Stanford Davis to Newport Beach for an engaging and inspiring conversation.
Moderated by Scott Mantz, the lively panel took audiences into the heart, humor, and creative vision behind the critically acclaimed Hulu series.
NBTVFest presented the cast with the Outstanding Comedy Ensemble Award.
Congratulations to the cast of Abbott Elementary and special kudos to Quinta Brunson who created the series and serves as an executive producer of the show.
We cannot wait for next years event!!!
